I capture components, patterns and assemblies in 3D as a basis for reverse engineering, inspection and documentation. I assess data quality according to its purpose.
The intended use determines which data are needed for reconstruction, inspection or documentation.
I have provided software recommendations and demonstrations for in-house use on several occasions.
In California, I commissioned several FDM 3D printers for a workshop over two months and instructed the staff. I continue to support their use. My trainer qualification under AEVO provides the basis for training and qualification.
Enabling the team is part of my consulting process.
A technical solution becomes usable in practice when the team can apply it.
