Bearing bridge: welded assembly instead of casting
To reproduce the bearing bridge, I designed a welded assembly made from plasma-cut parts instead of the original cast version. Process selection was guided by the client's existing environment.
Initial condition
The original cast version formed the basis for reconstructing the bearing bridge.
Assess processes
Instead of reproducing the casting identically, I designed the bearing bridge as a welded assembly.

The appropriate process depends on material, accuracy, quantity, effort and subsequent changes.
