Workshop and working methods
In my workshop, I check the actual component: scanning, designing, milling, turning, welding and printing.
What is possible here
- Scanning
- CAD/CAM and milling
- Turning
- Welding
- Drilling
- Additive manufacturing and workstation organisation
Current state
Conventional and additive processes are available side by side. I can try variants on the component before making a recommendation.

Scanning
I capture components, patterns and assemblies in 3D as a basis for reverse engineering, inspection and documentation.

Fräsen
CAD/CAM and machining are handled by one person. The detailed account is on the project page.

Turning
My lathe has been retrofitted with glass scales and a digital readout.

Welding
Welding is part of my workshop process. For the bearing bridge, the choice of plasma-cut parts was guided by the client's existing environment.

Drilling
I modernised my bench drill with a variable-frequency drive (VFD), adapted controls and a speed display.
Additive manufacturing and organisation
Printing is used where it serves the task: as an interface, fixture, pattern or workstation organisation system.

The beginnings
This is how the hall looked at the beginning. The current state is shown above on this page.
