Introduce technologies and support technical implementation

To make new technology work in practice, I connect it with your workflows, machines and people.

What I handle

  • Clarify interfaces between measurement, design engineering, manufacturing and partners
  • Technology introduction: system selection, integration and acceptance
  • Incorporate existing machines and supplement them appropriately
  • Knowledge transfer: training tailored to your team's workflows and existing knowledge

Turn a decision into a workflow

I work with you to turn the technical decision into a usable workflow. Consulting, my own technical work and work commissioned from partners remain clearly separated. We agree scope and responsibilities before implementation.

Pilot application and acceptance criteria

A representative pilot task shows which steps work in practice and what still needs checking. Quality requirements, capacity, deadlines and acceptance criteria are agreed in advance.

Responsibilities, data revisions and interfaces

Who creates, checks and approves data? I clarify the transitions between scanning, CAD, inspection and manufacturing, including valid data revisions. Interfaces with existing workflows and handover to partners are part of this.

Partner selection and quote comparison

Quotes can only be assessed against comparable requirements. I consider quality, capacity, deadlines, data approval and included services. Specialist tasks go to suitable partners under an agreed division of roles.

Training, handover and operation

Training is aligned with staff tasks and prior knowledge. Handover includes the agreed data revision, responsibilities and outstanding checks so the application can continue within existing operations.

Targeted additions to existing machines

My own lathe and bench drill show targeted additions to existing equipment. For a retrofit, I clarify installation space, operation, mechanical condition and the required technical scope. This determines which work I can undertake and which specialist partners are needed.
